♥️♥️♥️ Hi Amanda, your words brought tears to my eyes ~ thank you for sharing this with me. I truly believe that in a safe space, with those whom we trust, we can be ourselves and cry, if so moved.
I was at my father-in-law’s funeral when my mother-in-law told me to stop crying. She was harsh towards me is many ways.
I couldn’t stop crying as much as she could not cry herself. She thought that meant weakness. Took everything in me to remain calm and reply, firmly, that I and a close relative would cry in our section and those who wished to join us were welcome:) A pivotal moment for me ~ she was my lesson.
Sending you a big hug, Amanda.
My absolute pleasure to give a shout-out. I’m so excited to read Part 3.
XoXo
