For all newbies, READ, read, get to know other writers. It’s a two way street and reciprocity is huge here. I began two years ago, saw incredible stats and then the stats TANKED due to algorithm changes. I started again. Yes!!! As you say, we write because we love to write and have a unique voice. Join pubs and read, comment, engage. We may write our best stories at the beginning ~ without followers does not mean your work sucks. Build a community!!!
