When my children were toddlers, they received a bunny from a family member. Without asking us, the parents, first. A child cannot care for a pet without help. I cared for our bunny for years. One day it burrowed outdoors and we ensured it was safe with a proper bunny enclosure. Lived out its days well-cared for and given the choice, no more bunnies. Lots of work to ensure they are happy and living quality of life.
