I use Grammarly for proofing. I noticed the program now offers rewrites and suggestions for text.
For fun, I tried it and 9 out of 10, it misses the mark.
But, imagine someone for who English is not a first language and uses this program. I give them a pass for trying.
But, now would using Grammarly be considered AI-assisted?
What bothers me are the AI-assisted comments !!! That to me is obvious. And I block them right there.
There is a place for responsible use of AI. But when an entire article is posted that wasn’t written by a human that should not be allowed.

As Annie suggested, there should be a report button for this.
Every day I clear out any new followers that I suspect are bots or not an authentic voice.
So, my follower numbers don’t grow but at least the people who do follow me read my work. We all need to do our part to keep this platform authentic.


Just yesterday, I spent an hour reporting fake comments regarding a WhatsApp comment. Seriously, can Medium spend the money and stop this nonsense? That bothers me even more.
