What a horrible experience—thank goodness you lived to write about this.

I had a different experience with 18-wheelers on Canadian soil. They helped my family navigate a white out. Not the place I ever want to be, but our SUV was in between 2 18-wheelers and a row of them in front and behind.

They are the reason we got to the border and to safety. Two hours of following their lights.
