Top of the fold are Google’s sponsored ads. Why would they give up revenue? Sure they want you on their site as does Facebook but they are a money-making machine. Free of charge to search users. Would Google go the route of Twitter? Charge for info?
The question will become, when will we all rebel against a greedy giant taking whatever they want, free of charge?
