Tipping is being manipulated.
Not every country accepts tipping, as you noted, and for good reason. During the pandemic, we tipped generously. Because we wanted to support local businesses struggling.
However, 25% is greed.
And, it doesn’t always filter down to staff. Heard this many times.
Stay out of Piazza San Marco:)) It’s been like this for decades! Sit and you get charged. Because they can ~ so many tourists to chose from.
