Change is the hard part for many. It’s part of progress, when it’s for the greater good.

But, not all change is progress forward.

One clause is worth fighting for: Compensation to the author. That needs further clarification.

Respecting copyright is ownership and giving credit where due. This has far reaching consequences in society beyond just writers. Taking content, modification and reproduction of same without compensation to the owner of copyright is stealing. This falls into Plagiarism and that is a big deal.

We do need change ~ change that supports and respects the autonomy of both the individual writers and MEDIUM.
