Thank you for noting these observations. Why are we so afraid of change? To evolve as human beings asks that we take the lessons of the past and then let go. If rituals lose their meaning, it is right to question their value and biases. If we no longer believe in a ritual, why continue? If it perpetuates and diminishes women, why do we pretend it does not? It’s always time to redefine what reasonates at a soul level to evolve with purpose and intention for the betterment of all, regardless of gender.
