💙My heart goes out to you, Donnette ~ every child has a right to know. Finding out your parent hasn’t been honest adds even more hurt and confusion to the mix. What I see is how ingrained Patriarchal thoughts and ways continue the oppression of women ~ they feel so shamed, they act in ways that only serve to hurt their children and themselves. I hope you find resolution in ways that offer you peace.
