Lists should be an option, not a default:)

The layout of the current model is clean, allows pinning to the top (many like this option) and shows currrnt content.

Unless the Lists allows one to pin within lists, and organizing lists in the order of preference (i.e. Pinterest) this then allows greater flexibility.
