Hi Suzie, No, you are not selfish. Societies that perpetuate this “selfish narrative” are stuck in an antiquated Patriarchal mindset used to control, silence and suppress women. Good riddance.
Women are taking back their power, choosing for themselves.
They are educated, earning their own monies and that gives them power to make a different choice.
It’s not a given that being a woman equates to bearing a child. She decides for herself.
