Hi Smillew, from a tech standpoint, if the reader “bounces”, leaves the web page before scrolling to the end, it translates to a negative rank to that page. They left because they didn’t find it worthy to read to the end. It creates a negative UX ( user experience). So, that means MEDIUM will not suggest your post, boost it or distribute it to their readership.
Ditto for bots who pretend to read. Another sad story.
There is a lot going on in backend that can negatively impact how we, as writers, do here.
