Hi Rui, moving the clap button makes sense. I submitted this request months ago to Medium. No response.
For them it adds up to monies lost. All those seconds that a clapper adds to read time is minimal reward for writers but it adds up for Medium. Not worth it for them.

Sadly, clap and runners ruin the experience for everyone.
