If I embed a branding logo, it’s hidden within. This is how I won my case a few times. Thieves are too busy stealing, they don’t take a look at all the details.
Discreet is the way, and I, too, prefer on the mat as well and even then, it has to work with the image. The smallest of point sizes :)
