I followed a conversation between Jenny Lane and Tony CEO last week. We both questioned why the cliff drop in earnings. His response was “manufactured engagement” and edited to “fake engagement.”
Leaves my head spinning. Buster Benson gave us a blueprint on Medium Day encouraging engagement. Now, Tony’s comment states engagement affects earnings. The more we comment, the less our comment’s $ value. Seriously?!!!
And whatever they did to go after “spam” or fake engagement has affected all of us.
Fixing it?
