🛑 🚩🚩Hi Mitch, The DELETED USER. Blame them for why some writers got caught in this purge. Medium set their parameters to identify high “fake” engagement areas . Some writers have high engagement + post daily, if not more. Add, some were cloned ( ie. Leonard’s account) All of this is recorded /tracked in the back end. And people would have reported THE FAKE LEONARD account. But a machine just knows what the stats report.
The thing with bots, the bot generally doesn’t respond to a comment. But Leonard does and sometimes a lot because he is having a discussion.
So, the bot flies under the radar and the genuine writer gets flagged.
