One talked about spam and bots and the the other about Medium being a profitable business.

Well, you can be sure that Medium will do what it takes to remain profitable.

All the genuine engagement nonsense falls on Medium. Why factor it into the earnings and stat page? Get rid of it and go back to Read Time.

Penalizing writers for leaving comments is ridiculous.

Yes, some leave a few comments but I hav done this on a really good story.

I don't like the tone of Scott's post. It basically states that if you are earning $0.00, you are non a genuine writer. I am not a bot and not using AI. Yet, my earnings are frozen.
