Hi Lisa, all the best with Substack!! Engagement seems to be the factor with this new algo. So far, my numbers went up—a first for me. Find your highest read-ratio posts and pin those to the top. All mine were older stories and they brought in more in two days than they have performed over the longterm. Hope this works for you as well:)
