💙 Hi Leonard, above all else, honour Self. Forgiveness is so misunderstood. You cannot forgive unless you understand and process all that has been done to you. A lot was done to you by your abuser. Who shows NO remorse NOR offers a genuine apology. RUN!!! He has not changed and manipulates further.
Anyone who asks for forgiveness WITHOUT APOLOGY is delusional. Guilting, manipulation and the lot can go to hell. No, thank you.
He was not there for you. He was there for himself, his guilt. His responsibility not yours to carry.
