Hi Lauri, yes, agree, there are so many tools available, Photoshop being one of them.

It’s a digital darkroom.. I learned the basics to prep art files for client usage.

I always saw it as a tool for artists who didn’t care to paint or drawn, as example. A friend of mine mastered Photoshop and was hired by Adobe because of her skill and vision. She is an artist at heart and not a photographer.

It is an extensive program! And now a requirement for a BFA degree. The kids have to know how to use it.
