Have you heard of Julie Cameron’s, The Artist’s Way? When you described making a date with yourself, I thought of Julia’s book:) She encourages writing dates with self and Morning Pages, written for our eyes only ~ getting it all out, all of it. A commitment to ourself which will be freeing. Everything you write is what she endorses and why.
