Your last line ~ Money doesn’t read. And, on this platform reads do make money, in pennies or more. Putting in the effort to support others by reading matters. Working side jobs, part time or full-time to support oneself and in turn supports what one loves to do. Your post brings to mind Malcolm Gladwell’s 10 000-hour rule ~ simply a matter of practicing and putting in the effort to achieve a level of success.
