Hi Connie, the view from an email (external traffic source) is why it is categorized as an external view:)
This is how the web works ~ tracking referral sources will tell you where the traffic is going and coming from.
Notice once you land in Mediumland, it asks you to use the app.
Once your IP address is recognized, you are let in the door.
All that matters is that a paying member’s read time is tracked :)
