It seems like an endless loop.
If our food industries “do” what the European’s do, I’m waiting for the shoe to drop. Typically it becomes the consumer who complains food costs too much.
True, some brands gouge their consumers.
The suppliers complain it handcuffs them and adds to expense.
And people die.
Repeat.
We don’t get it. And won’t until we see that the current food chain model isn’t sustainable for us or the earth.
