Here on Medium, the algo is set to this default ~ to engage. I have mixed feelings on this. It is very clear that if you don’t engage, it has a way of boomeranging back with lower visibility and reads.
Reciprocity is now a concern towards “authentic engagement”… if you engage, do it well after many hours have passed. Wait a day. That’s what I see.
