This is what I would want people to consider. Just because certain practices are centuries old, such as cremation, does not mean we do not reconsider doing these in future.

Cremation adds to pollution. One study found 46 different pollutants. such as nitrous oxides and heavy metals, that remain in the atmosphere for up to 100 years.
Humans care less about Mother Earth and are entitled. If Costa Rica bans spreading ashes, I respect the ways of the land.
