As long as this is playful husband and wife banter, all is good:) Seriously, he literally cut the wires?!!! Why not just unplug it?

When newly married, the TV was a royal pain for me. He would turn it on during dinner. One day I rolled it over to the closet and left it in there.

When he came home, the tv was gone. Not a peep. I had warned him that if he wanted to stay married, the TV was off limits until after dinner. We both had the best first years without that box. He left it there until we moved:)
