A lot more going on here between both camps and lack of honest communication. She is old enough to be on her own and find her way in the world. Pitching in with chores is part of being an adult and committed in a relationship. If she cannot do them, consistently, it falls on her to figure out how to manage what is on her plate. Eventually the one who feels taken for granted gets angry and the situation escalates.
Now she lives in her car and won’t talk to them. Her inner child is controlling her narrative. Counselling is a good option.
