I’m still not convinced the boost is a fair way to allocate dollars and amplify voices.

Please know your other posts may have very well be nominated. Even when an Editor loves and nominates your post for a boost, Medium holds veto power. It’s frustrating as an Editor when a No ( with no explanation given) happens.

The boost is a game changer and payout, without question, is substantially higher.

As Robin suggested, find a pub with a nominator and test various pubs. While one pub may not work out, your work may be accepted at others.
